COPE (Ethical Standards in Publication Practice)
The editorial board ensures:
- transparency of submission, peer review, and publication processes;
- impartiality and independence of editors and reviewers;
- adherence to academic integrity (prevention of plagiarism, falsification, and duplicate publication);
- correct determination of authorship according to each author’s contribution;
- clear procedures for handling complaints and appeals (Section 3);
- application of correction and retraction procedures (Section 5).
WAME (Editorial Policy Principles)
The editorial board adheres to the following principles:
- ensuring editorial independence and absence of external influence on decision-making;
- mandatory disclosure of conflicts of interest by all participants in the publication process;
- organization of objective, fair, and timely peer review (Section 7);
- transparency of research funding sources;
- support for the scientific community, including early-career researchers.
DORA (Research Assessment Principles)
The editorial board applies principles of responsible research evaluation, including:
- assessment of manuscripts based on scientific quality, originality, and significance rather than bibliometric indicators alone;
- recognition of diverse research outputs (data, software, algorithms, technical solutions, etc.);
- support for interdisciplinary research;
- promotion of open science principles.
ICMJE (General Principles of Publication Ethics)
The editorial board takes into account:
- clear criteria for authorship and author responsibility;
- adherence to ethical standards in conducting research;
- encouragement of transparency and availability of research data.
Modern Open Science and Research Data Management Principles
The journal supports:
- open access policy for research outputs (Section 9);
- FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) for research data;
- open science initiatives, including the possibility of preprint dissemination and open data sharing;
- Plan S principles for open scholarly publishing.
Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies
The editorial board ensures compliance with principles of transparency, accountability, and controlled use of artificial intelligence technologies in accordance with the policy defined in Section Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-Assisted Technologies.
