ABSTRACT
The arguments for the purposefulness of risk representation are presented in the form of a com- plex number that includes objective (real) and subjective (imaginary) components. An attempt was made to make a meaningful, semantic interpretation of the basic elements of a complex num- ber in terms of risk.
