ABSTRACT
The electrophysical processes have been studied by combined using the multiscale and multiphysics modeling and by sequential solving the field-circuit problems for three structural levels – all power cable line, cable polyethylene insulation and separate element of the insulation with micro-sized inclusions. The results of solving the coupled electric and mechanical problems in the insulation at the microlevel give a possibility to define the insulation quality and service life of
cable line under specific operation conditions.
